Former NBA player Charles Barkley will guest star in "Suits" season 5, which will return June 25 on USA Network. The basketball star will play a fictional character of himself as Harvey's client. Meanwhile, does the lead actor of the show, Gabriel Macht, really eye being a lawyer as a career?
"Suits" season 5 will finally come back to the small screens next month and one of the various guest stars to appear in the new season is NBA star Charles Barkley. The former 76ers player will be called in on episode 3 to be a client of Spectre Pearson Litt and hopefully help Harvey from being a total mess in the wake of Donna's decision to leave him professionally.
Barkley's case could help Harvey take his mind off his pain from the heartbreaking (for the Harvey-Donna shippers) events that took place in last season's finale. According to a report, the two could even have a heart-to-heart talk during the client-partner outing that might ease aid Harvey to see his current situation with a different perspective.
Meanwhile, "Suits'" gem, Gabriel Macht, said in an interview that even though he enjoys playing Harvey, there are times where his job could be a haul. Nevertheless, he considers "Suits" as a blessing for him. When asked if he thinks he could be a lawyer since he acts like one for years already, Macht said that he would be just like Mike in the show.
"From your lips to my mother's ears, but no. She wanted me to be a lawyer, and I fulfilled half of that wish by being one on TV," said Macht. "But in essence, I'm just like Mike. I'm a complete fraud. It's not for me. I think "Suits" makes the world of law a lot more interesting. The real lawyers that I've spoken to think it's a really good TV show."
"Suits" season 5 will guest star former NBA player Charles Barkley as Harvey's client in an attempt to take his mind off of Donna's departure. Gabriel Macht enters the fifth season as a lawyer to the delight of the show's fans. However, the actor is still not convinced that he could be a good lawyer in real life.
Charles Barkley is a retired NBA player and a current basketball analyst on "Inside the NBA." He dominated the league during his heyday as a power forward and is included in the 50 Greatest Players in NBA History. "Suits" season 5 airs June 25 on USA Network.
