The diehards of the Japanese manga series "Naruto" is getting all the treatment with both an animated film and a mini-series, and with the former's upcoming debut, it was recently speculated that the character Mitsuki will either be playing as a villain or an ally in the "Boruto: Naruto the Movie." Meanwhile, for the mini-series, a much anticipated reunion between Sarada and Sasuke will be featured on the chapter 5 of "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring."
Masashi Kishimoto's upcoming animated film "Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is heating up lately. With the first trailer recently released, speculations on what will happen have been the center of "Naruto" forums in the Web. There's Orochimaru being said to be the main villain of the movie. However, even resurrecting himself and taking the form of another body, he still cannot match against the film's two leads: Boruto and Sarada. The plot actually revolves around the two.
Despite his depleted faculties, Christian Today reports that he will try to take over the "Sharingan" of the Uchina clan. For those who just tuned in to this "Naruto" frenzy, "Sharingan" are sets of ninja abilities including the Dōjutsu (Eye Techniques); it is also a "Kekkei Genkai," insinuating that it can be passed down only on specific clans. This "Sharingan" is exclusively for the Uchiha clan. Thus, this will actually play a pivotal development in the film.
But the thing here is, a mysterious character named Mitsuki, which means "full moon" in Japanese, is also speculated to be an essential part in the flick. Fans are puzzling whether this Mitsuki will be a villain or an ally. As a brief background, he already appeared in the mini-series "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring" and had some interactions with Boruto and Sarada. And while Mitsuki seems good, bear in mind that he resembles the two-faced characteristic of Kabuto Yakushi, one of the main villains in the "Fourth Great Ninja War" arc.
Meanwhile, Masashi Kishimoto's mini-series "Naruto Gaiden: The Seventh Hokage and the Scarlet Spring" is also a hot item for manga fans. The plot actually has similarities with the animated film but mainly focuses on Sarada Uchiha, daughter of Sasuke Uchiha. There have been four chapters released for the manga series and the fifth chapter should come soon.
Fast-tracking to avoid major spoilers, a part of the chapter four featured Sasuke pointing a sword to Sarada, whom has joined Naruto to meet with Sasuke. In their journey to reunite with Sasuke, Sarada went ahead because she's too excited to meet her father. Naruto's rival might be oblivious about her daughter's existence or he can't even remember her daughter. All the while, a reunion will happen between the two and that's one thing fans should watch out. Will family issues between the Sarada and the rest of the Uchiha clan be revealed in the "Boruto Movie" or in the manga series? Nonetheless, Boruto and Sarada's love story is expected by fans to blossom in the upcoming manga film.
"Boruto: Naruto the Movie" is expected to debut this August 7 in Japan, and as early as July 27, fans can now pre-order passes for the movie. However, it is still unclear when it will be out in US theaters, but according to some reports, most likely it will set mark in fall. Likewise, the movie will be shown in its original Japanese language but will be subtitled in English, just like the "The Last: Naruto the Movie."
