'Batman: Arkham Knight' PS4, Xbox One, PC pre-order available; Live-action trailer released, characters revealed

"Be the Batman" is the tagline for the newest live-action video for Batman: Arkham Knight, which was released a few days ago by Warner Bros, revealing some other characters for the game besides the mighty superhero.

It was known that the game was supposed to have its initial release last year, but it was delayed twice as the game went on further development. There were also some other rating discrepancies that could've endangered significant scenes, as the game received an M rating, but it was confirmed that such scenes, though not revealed, had been saved for entry.

"We're a developer that hates to make any compromises," game director Sefton Hill had said before in answering about the delay. "So we are sorry to say this means it's going to be just a little big longer until you can play the epic conclusion to the Arkham trilogy."

"We're not including gratuitous blood or swearing," Hill had also added in regards to the could-be deleted scenes. "We want to deliver a true end with no compromises, and it takes us to some dark places."

The Arkham Knight is the first title in the series that was given an M rating in North America, somehow equivalent of an 18 certificate in the UK. This means that the tone for the game is darker.

Now that the game is finally set to be released on the 23rd of next month, developer Rocksteady fans are all the more excited for the return of most adored hero, and all the more for the villains that are in the line against him.

The game is set to play on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC. You can pre-order it on Steam.

All of which that are expected to appear are Two-Face, The Penguin, the Riddler, the Arkham Knight, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy--all of which seemed to be united by the Scarecrow.
