Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire fans in North America must be thrilled to receive an official announcement from the Pokemon Company and Nintendo that a new Pokemon game will be released this Winter 2015. Also, get a $25% off the list price of 5 Nintendo games at online retailer, Best Buy.
According to a press release in Business Wire, Nintendo and The Pokemon Company confirmed that a new game, Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, is being developed for 3DS and will be released in US by Winter this year.
The Pokemon Mystery Dungeon was released as a spin-off from the main Pokemon series in 17 November 200 and sold more than 13 million units of the game worldwide, hence, this new game rationally is the continuation of the series.
"Players can look forward to even greater, randomly created dungeons that change each time they enter. In Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon, players will battle alongside Legendary and Mythical Pokemon to save the world in a sweeping tale of adventure and mystery," the statement noted.
Players can now look forward to added surprises as they enter the dungeons and also get some of the Legendary and Mythical Pokemon from the main series. The statement has also revealed that Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon will launch in North America this coming Holiday season.
As reported earlier, the likelihood of Nintendo releasing a follow-up game for Pokemon X and Y like Yellow, Crystal, Emerald or Platinum; or sequels like Black 2 and White 2 is being predicted. In addition, the publisher might reveal a console arena Pokemon game like Pokemon Stadium or Pokemon Coliseum.including possibility that Pokken Tournament might get ported to Wii U.
The new Pokemon game is seen to be out by Fall as well as the possibility of seeing the release of Pokemon Amiibos similar to the ones being released for Super Smash Bros.
