Mass Effect 4 is one of the top games being expected to be announced in the upcoming E3 this June. Reports on the release date, features on gameplay, as well as several teases are all roaming the internet, leaving fans at the edge of their seats. Bioware is certainly carrying a lot of pressure with making this game hit its mark later on.
The expected release date for Mass Effect 4 for is within the first quarter of 2016. This was inferred from the recent financial report of the title's developer. Along with it would be other games such as a new Need For Speed racing game, Mirror's Edge 2, as well as Star Wars: Battlefront.
When it comes to the storyline of Mass Effect 4, fans should know that Bioware is cooking up something new, even for the character. The lead hero is deemed as a "pathfinder" and his journey involves the Helius Cluster which is part of the Andromeda galaxy. The setting would also be placed years after Mass Effect 3.
Another important leak to take into account would be the statement of Mac Walters, the lead game writer, which implied that Commander Shepard will be no more. IGN shared the exact words of the writer which went, "The idea is that we have agreed to tell a story that doesn't relate necessarily to nay of the Shepard events at all."
He continues, "It has to feel like a Mass Effect game at its heart, at its core. Just without the Shepard character or the Shepard specific companions."
Another news report shared about the tweet from BioWare GM, Aaryn Flynn. It went, "So touching reading the #BioWare20 messages! No time to reminisce though - we're building the future #N7." The Twitter post came with an image which seemed like an "arm clad in skin tight N7 armor."
These are the latest updates for Mass Effect 4. Certainly, the game has taken on its changes, but BioWare is still on top of their creativity to bring players a great experience. Stay tuned for more updates and don't miss what will be said in the Electronic Entertainment Expo.
