'Need for Speed 2015' confirmed to use Frostbite 3? 'Fast and Furious' characters expected for DLC release?

We all know the upcoming newest reboot of EA's Need for Speed, which has also been simply titled with 'Need for Speed', that's why most call it 'Need for Speed (2015), is pegged for release on the last quarter of this year or on the first quarter of 2016. And while he are all waiting, announcements has been made saying that the game is confirmed to use Frostbite 3. Johan Andersson, technical director of Frostbite 3, made the announcement on twitter.

This has been quite expected since EA (Electronic Arts) has been known to using Frostbite 3 such as the games Star Wars: Ballfront and Dragon Age Inquisition and several other EA games.

We also know that the game will deliver what the fans wanted, as revealed in the official twitter account of NFS, that the game will "share a lot of the stuff that made that game great".

The game more so, will comprise "deep customization, authentic urban car culture, a nocturnal open world, and an immersive narrative", as it is considered the full reboot of the original series. It is set to appear only on PC, Xbox One and PS4, but not on PS3 or X360.

Meanwhile, as last April it was reported that Fast and the Furious cars from the latest Fast and the Furious movie, following the release of the special standalone Forza game, have been released for DLC, another Fast and the Furious characters are expected to come for DLC downloading. Reports are yet to be confirmed.

Forza Horizon 2 was the one who released for DLC the eight cars that was inspired from the movie, namely the 1970 Dodge Charger, 1970 Plymouth Cuda, 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited, 2014 Maserati Ghibli S, 1970 Plymouth Road Runner, 2015 Dodge Charger2015 Dodge Challenger, and the free 1998 Toyota Supra. The upcoming characters set of DLC release shall be announced soon.
