Sprint will be releasing the LG G4 officially on 5 June in the US.
The third largest US phone carrier is offering LG's latest flagship phone through Sprint Lease for US$18 per month and no down payment. At the end of the term, customers can opt to trade the phone in or pay off the remaining value.
The LG G4 can also be bought via the Sprint Easy Pay plan for 24 monthly payments of $25. The LG G4 can also be had via a conventional two-year contract with Sprint with a $199.99 down payment. An outright LG G4 handset purchase is prized at $599.99.
The LG G4 can be pre-ordered via the Sprint website, and those who do will receive freebies such as a 32GB memory card, an extra 3,000 mAH battery and a battery charging cradle. The customers will receive the accessories four to six weeks after purchasing the unit.
Customers have the option to get the black leather-back unit or the metallic grey plastic variant.
Launched in South Korea on 28 April and priced at $650 (depending on the carrier or distributor), the LG G4 is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8992 Snapdragon 808 chipset with two CPUS: a dual-core 1.82 GHz Cortex-A57 and a quad-core 1.44 GHz Cortex-A53; an Adreno 418 GPU, and 3GB RAM.
This 5.3-inch LTE-ready smartphone has an internal memory of 32GB which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD. It comes with a 16MP main camera - which has received widespread positive response - and a 8MP secondary camera. A removable 3,000 mAH battery - which was seen as the company's response to user requests - provides power to this Android 5.1 unit. It uses a nano-sim, and comes with a stylus as well.
The LG G4 is 148.9 x 76.5 x 9.9mm in dimension, and has a curved back design with a large camera lens cover. It has leather and plastic housing variants.
