While the season three of the television series "Arrow" has just ended this month, fans can't help contemplating on what will happen in the season four, and as to heat things up this early, it was speculated that the relationship between lead Oliver Queen and his love interest Felicity Smoak might cease in the upcoming season. Meanwhile, there have been rumors lately that DC's Harley Quinn and Green Lantern might appear in the show.
On a scene in the finale episode entitled "My Name Is Oliver Queen" of "Arrow" season 3, Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak have had their brief happy ending as they were featured to be driving off the sunset. However, as much as things seem good for a while, their relationship will be put to tests anew or might end miserably in the season four of the show.
Speaking recently with TV Line (via Yibada), Emily Bett Rickards, who plays Felicity, dished out some details about the future of her character's relationship with Arrow/Oliver for the upcoming season. She revealed that the duo's bond remains uncertain especially since both of them have already been addicted to serving justice for so long.
In addition, before their epic sunset runaway, Felicity is a little pissed about Oliver marrying Nyssa al Ghul (Katrina Law), thus, this may make their relationship going haywire. However, the falling-out between the two might not last as Bett Rickards also said that Olicity will get to know each other better in season four.
Meanwhile, in other "Arrow" related news, there have been speculations that Harley Quinn might still appear in the upcoming season. For everyone not to let their hopes up, the infamous DC character is confirmed to be backing out of the show, Latino Post noted. Harley Quinn was previously intended to be a major villain and is supposed to have a fight with Oliver in the season two. In fact, in an interview with MCM London Comic Con, Willa Holland (Thea Queen) mentioned that the Joker's lover is reckoned to play a pivotal role in "Arrow" before the "Suicide Squad" movie was announced.
Holland also told that they have some big plans for the character. The meant-to-be Harley Quinn role for "Arrow" season two has been given to actress Cassidy Alexa. In fact, she has already appeared in a promo video. Now, in a bigger role in the movie, actress Margot Robbie gave a vibrant life to the iconic role.
Furthermore, another character that has been rumored to appear in the new season is Green Lantern. Since Oliver and Felicity's sunset runaway destination is Coast City, the hometown of the superhero, fans can't help but anticipate the character's guest appearance. No further announcements have been disclosed though on the confirmation of this role.
