"Paper Towns" is due to hit the cinemas on July 24th this year. Based on the novel by John Green who also wrote "The Fault in Our Stars", the upcoming movie will star Cara Delevingne and Nat Wolff. A new trailer has been released and unlike the first one, it shows off a lighter side of the film, as well as its funny front.
It was previously rumored that Cara Delevingne almost quit her acting career, and she confirmed this during a recent interview with "Wall Street Journal". The 22-year-old beauty said it was always her dream to act, and modeling just happened along the way.
"I basically gave up on acting, because trying to get an agent was impossible. Everyone said, 'You're just a model,' once I had my mind set that I was going to do this modeling thing, I really wanted to beat it, if that makes sense. Win it," Delevingne explained.
She will play her first major role in "Paper Towns" - a mysterious girl named Margo Spiegelman who goes on a revenge mission on a group of people who have hurt her. Margo suddenly disappears, leaving clues for Quentin Jacobsen, Nat Wolff's character, to find her.
On the other hand, there have been talks about a looming split between Delevingne's rocker girlfriend, St. Vincent. According to reports, the former's "too much partying" is causing the couple to fight non-stop. Sources point out that the relationship is on the verge of a breakup.
Then, there was this incident in Cannes, wherein the couple was seen leaving a Gotham party early, supposedly because of Delevingne's ex-lover, Michelle Rodriguez. A 'MailOnline' source "She (Rodriguez) definitely didn't look too happy to see them, but Cara didn't want her to cause a scene and decided to leave".
Last week, Delevingne and co-star Nat Wolff started on their "Paper Towns" promotional shoot, and St. Vincent was also present behind-the-scene. It seems that the two are patching things up despite the breakup rumors.
