'Dragon Age: Inquisition' PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 DLC: Frostback Basin, Dragonslayer released

Dragon Age: Inquisition, with its first major expansion, Jaws of Hakkon, after the release two months ago this year for Xbox One and PC, is now available for download (DLC) which can be purchased on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and Xbox 360 for fifteen dollars.

The game was released last March by way of an arrangement between Microsoft and Electronic Arts, the owner of BioWare Studio.

With the same game content, the story is centered on the Avvar hunter people. Players can explore and search the dense wilderness of the "ancient Tevinter fortress that hides a dangerous secret."

More so, players can also have a whole pack of action against enemies, and conquer then with new armory and set of weapons. This will conclude with a final battle against "ancient god of war bent on destroying the world."

BioWare has already released a free multiplayer add-on for the original game with Dragonslayer. This expanded the gameplay and the setting of the game, the number of playable characters, dragons to fight against. A possible single-player version is yet to be released.

The DLC is based upon an all-new added area, Frostback Basin. It is an area filled with plateau-edged foothills, with deep, dangerous pits. There's a lakeshore running towards the muddy waters of the basin, becoming then swamplands and damp jungles. While players said about their delight in the game, they also commented that the area is not really essential.

In one of Gamespot's reviews of the game, however, it was said that the game lacks of cinematic storytelling, and a few missions are boring. Though, the critic said that the game is praise-worthy for its new perspective on the Dragon Age teachings. And the environment and the over-all design is undeniably gorgeous and noteworthy.

"It's all brought to life with vibrant color and fresh ambient sounds," critic said. "The Frostback Basin feels distinct from the game's other zones, and it's mostly a joy to explore."
