'Assassin's Creed: Syndicate' set in Industrial London; Twin characters, weapons, Revolution plot revealed

Ubisoft has finally announced the official release for their newest game of the Assasin's Creed Series, the 'Assasin's Creed: Syndicate' for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The date set for the release is on October 23rd this year. The game, rumor has it, offers new ways to video gaming.

The game had been known to have an entirely different setting: the Industrial Revolution of London, marking the commencement of the dawn era. In addition to this, new characters, weapons and gameplay are also offered.

A marketing material sent to Polygon said that the game will "transport millions of gamers to an astonishing recreation of London during the Industrial Revolution where they will find themselves immersed in a game world they'll have to see to believe."

The plot revolves around the gap between wealthy people and the poor and the harsh environment that leads to crimes. The stars of the game are twins Jacob and Evie Frye, both part of the gang The Rooks. Together, they will head over to top challenges and stealthy dares.

Since the setting for the game is Industrial London, and the weapons have to be relevant to the time period, weapons that are to be used must be discreet, and the actions must be sneaky. The use of revolvers, pistols and hidden blades are very essential. In hiding blades, the players will have to use sword canes, also a kukri knife and rope launcher that helps you leap in between tall buildings.

As their website says, the Assassin's Legendary Hidden Blade and Gauntlet Edition includes a "functional hidden blade," while the Cane Sword Edition features a "fully detailed sword and a button triggered spring-loaded scythe blade."

The new game has added new actions, as it is less in fighting and is more in sneaking behind. It offers players the ability to crawl. More so, the players are also given opportunity to drive carriages and use them for transportation use.

Multiple editions are also made for the game, and most of it are available for pre-order online. The Gold Edition includes the season pass and the Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy Mission, and the Standard Edition only has the Darwin and Dickens Conspiracy Mission.

Here are the prices to choose per edition of the game.
