“The Bronze Movie” Update: Relativity Media postpones release; Rumors claims that the studio is in trouble?

By

Relativity Media LLC decided to reschedule the release of their movie "The Bronze" to avoid clasing with other comedy films that have the same playdate on July.

Relativity Studio bought "The Bronze" movie from Sundance for over $3 million dollars. The company believes that producing the film will gain more profits versus the little investment that they had. Delaying the release date for another three more months appears to be a wise move. There are quite a number of R-rated movies that will be released this summer. The competition is already tight amoing the movies Spy, Ted 3, and Vacation. Releasing "The Bronze" on October will actually give them a higher chance to hit box office, the ultimate goal for any production outfit. Less competition gives them an edge over the movie goers market.

As "The Bronze" movie reach cinemas on October, it will be playing against most horror and suspense films. The Paranormal Activity, and Crimson Peak, including the fantasy adventure movie "The Last Witch Hunter" and the thriller film "The Secret in the Eyes" are all scheduled this fall. There are two other comedy film set to be released on October, "Rock The Kasbah" with Bill Murray and "Goosebumps" with Jack Black. The studio gives a wide berth for "The Bronze" from intense competition from a number of comedy flicks set to hit the theaters starting from spring until this summer. Hopefully, this movie will be beneficial for the Melissa Rausch starrer.

Conversely, Relativity Studios is bombarded with rumors lately. Other's simply do not buy the reason for rescheduling the release date of "The Bronze" movie, plus two others - "Masterminds" and "Before I Wake". People think that the company is facing a much deeper issue. The involuntary resignation of the two boards, Colodne and Beckman, sends wrong signal to people. There are so many reports coming out, although the studio, headed by Chief Executive Officer Kavanaugh, has already cleared all issues. One of hte recent controveries adressed by the company included the lawsuit pressed by an advertising company against Relativity Studios concerning unpaid bill.

Lastly, regardless if there is truth to all the rumors that are thrown at Relativity Studio, what is important is that the people behind the company is handling the matters well and is making the right decision not just for the good of their projects like "The Bronze" movie but also for the people working for the company.
