Keeping Up with the Kardashians star, Rob Kardashian entered rehab after reportedly suffering from drug addiction and depression for more than a year.
Rob Kardashian's absence during his sister Kim, and now brother-in-law Kanye West's wedding triggered rumors that he was depressed and has been using a deadly mix of drugs. He didn't attend the wedding, because he reportedly felt insecure about his body, and was going through something at that time.
Last year, Kardashian has been rumored to have taken painkillers, Norco and Percocet, and anti-depressant Xanax. But apparently, it's not just that, as he also took heavy drugs, among which is Sizzurp, a codeine-packed cough syrup.
During the 10th season of their reality show, the matriarch of the family, Kris Jenner, shared to the family therapist, how she felt about what Rob was going through, "If I don't help him do something drastic, he's going to die," she said. "He was someone who was very athletic and he's gained over 100 pounds in the last year, I'm just waiting for this horrible thing to happen and there's nothing we can do about it." Jenner continued
A few days ago, Kardashian checked himself in a 60-day Palm Beach rehab center. A source even revealed that he had a positive mindset upon entering the facility, "Rob is in good spirits and has a positive mindset. He quietly checked into a beachside Palm Beach County drug and alcohol in-patient rehab center over the weekend."
A celebrity body guard, and a friend of Rob and Kim Kardashian, Mark Behar, explained that Rob will go through weight loss and physical training, as well as detox programme while in the center. Behar said that Kardashian might lose 10 to 20 pounds in just a few weeks in rehab.
Around the time of Rob Kardashian's entrance into the rehab center, Jenner posted a picture on Instagram of a screenshot of her family's messages to each other. In the photo, everyone in the family express their I love you's to each other. "Kendall's texts are cut off at the top and Kylie is on a plane... but this is how fun and silly my family's text chains are on a daily .. Sorry guys I had to"
With Rob finally seeking for help, the Kardashian family reportedly showed their support on his decision, and will have his back all the way.
