E3 2015 could be a make or break moment for the "Destiny" franchise. Apart from that, a few members of the gaming community had made their fearless forecast for the upcoming gaming event.

It was observed that Bungie's "Desitiny" had been encountering several challenges since its inception, based on a report from PlayStation Lifestyle. However, it was also reported that "Destiny" was starting to make its mark in the gaming community. The report added that "all things considered, Destiny is beginning to find its groove. That's not to say the galactic shooter is above reproach, certainly not; though considering how far it has come and how far it will likely go in the future, there's reason to be excited."

Add to that, "Destiny's" upcoming DLC "The Taken King" that would be launched on September might be Bungie's centerpiece for the E3 2015 in Los Angeles, based on the PlayStation Lifestyle report. The report also added that "if The Taken King heralds even half of the content promised - new subclasses, new weapons types, new PvP maps and no less than twelve story missions - Destiny's third DLC could prove to be the long overdue motherload, comfortably eclipsing previous expansions and firing the shared-world shooter back into the spotlight."

Meanwhile, several members of the gaming community also have their own expectations for the upcoming E3 2015. Among the games that fans were expecting to be featured in E3 2015 were "Star Wars Battlefront," "Fallout 4," "Mass Effect 4," "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," "Halo 5: Guardians," "Legend of Zelda" and Tom Clancy's "The Division," based on a report from Pocket-Lint.

However, that's just the tip of the iceberg. Other gaming enthusiasts also expected to see Oculus Rift, Project Morpheus and Microsoft's Hololens in the upcoming E3 2015, based on a report from Highsnobiety. A consumer model of Oculus Rift was reported to be launched on 2016, while Sony already set up a dedicated studio as a launch pad for Project Morpheus.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo 2015 would be held at the Los Angeles Convention Center on June 16 - 18.
