Iron Banner is announced to return June 2 following the huge success of Destiny House of Wolves release for about two weeks now and Bungie has already gathered users' feedback that becomes the focus of Destiny's next patch 1.2.0.2. The game developer has also confirmed the game's 'The Taken King' expansion launching this September which is seen to be showcased at E3 come June 16.
"Whenever we release new content into the wild, we have a chance to learn something new about the Destiny player experience. House of Wolves has been no exception. We've been on high-alert ever since Petra Venj appeared again in the Tower to see if her banners yet waved," the developer said in the latest blog post.
Despite that Destiny patch 1.2.0.2 release date is not yet known, Bungie's Live Team has already made a list of topics to be discussed for the upcoming update, to wit:

- Mercury Emblems that don't appear in inventories
- Treasure Key famine, and the farmers who need relief
- Ammo synthesis that piles up in your inventories
- Quests, Ships, or Shaders not being granted by Prison of Elders
- Encounters with known Prison inmate bosses
Earlier, Destiny update 1.2.0.1 was released alongside the House of Wolves expansion which introduced a number changes including tweaks to the Iron Banner that is reportedly returning this week, June 2.
Meanwhile, Bungie also confirmed that a major expansion pack titled, 'The Taken King', will be released this coming September.According to a NeoGAF user, the third expansion appears to bear the Hive's symbol.
If such is true, the titular king could be Oryx who is believed to be the master of all the Hive. Players haven't encountered him yet but destroyed one of his shrines in the Destiny campaign and also killed one of his creations, Crota, at the end of The Dark Below's raid.
Game pundits and fans alike opine that Bungie and Activision will have Destiny major expansion, 'The Taken King' as their staple at the prestigious E3 Event this June. Also, stay tuned for any release announcement of patch 1.2.0.2.
