Patrick Dempsey has left Grey's Anatomy on a grateful and humbled scale. A shocking development and various twists and turns have set on the series' phasing since Derek Shepherd died during the last episode and that marks Dempsey's 11-year journey on the show.
It was indeed a remarkable ride. Shonda Rhimes, Grey's Anatomy creator indeed lamented the character's loss and nonetheless acclaimed and praised that Dempsey's character has no other than meaningful. Dempsey has said to be pursuing another interest from the TV series. McDreamy has created a remarkable role that indeed will always be remembered. The character's lost will be felt by now and it will be Rhimes' challenge to have the upcoming season more interesting than ever.
Though Grey's Anatomy has loved and lost some of its character, it is still painful to see roles to have gone for the better. Even if it is something to be used to about, another character flying up on the clouds for a specific reason is, by far, harder to take. Dr. Derek Shepherd a.ka. McDreamy left Seattle Grace Hospital and left some vision dim on how everything will go without him in turn.
It was revealed that McDreamy's moving-out part is kind of temporary. For now, he will be out of the picture but there will be a time that fans would be able to see him once again. A 'very soon' promise is what Rhimes have promised. Rumors of his possible return in the Season 12 of the much-supported series are also making rounds online. Will Patrick Dempsey return this coming fall?
The show has around 20 million viewers a week pulling it out since March 2005 premier through the latter part of its season 4 in the year 2008. It was a surprised for everyone to see McDreamy go but it is also goes that sometimes, leaving is not a matter of choice; its coming back that is.
