To be President Snow, in part two of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay is not a good idea, as a new poster for the upcoming instalment of the movie has been released, showing a beheaded statue of the unlikeable president. Katniss, played by Jennifer Lawrence, teams up with her friends and allies, in taking down the Capitol.
Action, destruction, and death are to be expected as Katniss, along with Peeta, Gale, Finnick and rebels of Panem take down President Snow and the Capitol in order to give way for the rise of a new Panem. Aside from that, the upcoming film also reportedly involves emotional scenes, as Katniss tries to fix her original Hunger Games partner, Peeta.
The synopsis of the film tells fans to prepare for a big revolution in the final instalment of The Hunger Games franchise as it reads:
"With the nation of Panem in a full scale war, Katniss confronts President Snow (Donald Sutherland) in the final showdown. Teamed with a group of her closest friends including Gale (Liam Hemsworth), Finnick (Sam Claflin), and Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), Katniss goes off on a mission with the unit from District 13 as they risk their lives to stage an assassination attempt onPresident Snow who has become increasingly obsessed with destroying her. The mortal traps, enemies, and moral choices that await Katniss will challenge her more than any arena she faced in The Hunger Games."
Also, a teaser has been released for the film, which seem to be a compilation of audio clips from the previous instalments of the movie narrating how Katniss started in the games and how she now became the symbol of rebellion. In the last part of the clip, Katniss can be heard saying, "Tonight, turn your weapons to the Capitol." a very promising statement and a hint as to what the film's director, Francis Lawrence, has in store for the Hunger Games fans.
The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 hits theaters worldwide this coming November.
