The Destiny The Taken King DLC confirmed for September release update is the workings of a recent advertisement, particularly from Red Bull. While Bungie still has not given a final word on the upcoming expansion, a lot of fans are optimistic that this could be what's next for the game. After two expansions in Destiny, gamers are eager to get more intriguing features in their gameplay.

The Taken King to be the name of the next DLC was inferred as this was trademarked by the title's game developer last May. Over on Twitter, an image was leaked which showed a box of Red Bull, mentioning Destiny as well as The Taken King. It was tweeted by the user Agrios Endendros, with the caption, "Very interesting... #Destiny #Bungie @G1Net."

This did not only surface on Twitter, but on other sites such as the Australian PlayStation community page of MMGN, as mentioned in VG24/7. This came along with the red logo Bungie owned at the same time of the title. Apart from the tease on the expansion, there is another box which hints that you can be "legend" when it comes to MLG Player Flamesword, the alias of Michael Chaves.

While an official announcement from Activision, Bungie, and Red Bull will have the final say, the image is pretty hard to question. As for the release of the Destiny The Taken King DLC, it is rumored to be on September based on a report on the game.

The Destiny Taken King DLC confirmed for September release rumors still need further confirmation from the game publisher and developer. In the meantime, players who still have not acquired the latest update of the game should do so. The second and most recent expansion, House of Wolves, has been released last May 19. It is part of the Expansion Pass, which also includes the first one, The Dark Below.
