Total War Arena Trailer Shows In-Game Scenes for the First Time; Creative Assembly Opens Limited Slots in Closed Alpha for Fan Feedback

By

Total War Arena is already in the closed alpha phase of its development. Being the latest title in Creative Assembly's Total War franchise, fans are surely excited to see what this game would have in store for them. Fortunately, a trailer has recently been released. For the first time, in-game details have been displayed which give concrete gameplay aspects.

Total War: ARENA belongs to the multiplayer team-based strategy genre of games. It supports 10v10 battle. Similarly with its previous versions, this one will get players to experience real-time combat at an epic setting. There would be a vast scene in combat with a multitude of units being on the same view.

In order to experience the closed alpha, gamers can sign up through the official website of the Total War game series. While US servers are still unavailable, the Europe counterpart is very much alive and running already. It will only take a simple form to get in. However, the slots are limited, so the ones who will be given the privilege to play it should very well provide feedback to help with the title's development. This would be managed through a forum as mentioned in the Total War site.

A message from the Total War: ARENA team goes as follows, "While the game is in Closed Alpha and Closed Beta, we do expect bugs and sometimes we may need to reset all game accounts. By playing ARENA at this early stage, you will be helping to shape the future direction of the game, and helping us get it ready for release."

Total War Arena has first been announced a couple of years back. With its development in progress, fans should do their part to voice out how they would want the game to pan out. Moreover, they should see if they can sneak in a chance to play the closed alpha so their hands-on experience can really contribute to the direction Creative Assembly is taking.
