Scandal Season 5 spoilers are pouring. It is revealed that Portia de Rossi's Elizabeth North will replace Cyrus Beene as Chief of Staff.
With the promotion of Elizabeth North, also known as Lizzie Bear, in the show, it is expected that she will now have her revenge on Scandal Season 5.
Since she's now much in a better and higher position, it is said that Lizzie Bear will make Mellie and Cyrus' life miserable for the things they have done to her.
Portia commented on her character that "she was tired of getting kicked around. She was sick of being Mellie's dog, someone who fetches whatever she wants. It was payback time for Lizzie Bear. She had enough, so she made a big bold power move."
Another question that is circulating around Scandal Season 5 is whether Quinn will actually kill Huck.
Quinn is last seen pointing a gun at Huck, who is the only Gladiator who knows about the truth behind the murders. In the finale of Scandal Season 4, it is unknown if Quinn pulled the trigger or not. Which will be answered on Scandal Season 5.
Guillermo Diaz was in an interview what will the fate of his character be. His answer was, "I don't know! That's a Shonda [Rhimes, the show's creator] question. A couple of weeks ago, she emailed us all and said the ending was changed. In the original script, Quinn ends up walking away from Huck and obviously doesn't shoot him. So who knows what's gonna happen, but that's what makes Scandal so exciting... Now we have to wait and see. I have no idea if I'm dead or alive!"
He was then asked to comment if Huck's ex-lover Quinn is capable of killing the person she once loved, Diaz said, "I think she can. She can and she can't. It would be hard for her, but at the same time, she'd be saving other people's lives because who knows what he would do after this." Thus, it really is possible that Huck could die. But if Quinn decides otherwise, it is said that Huck might team up with Rowan and be lost in the dark side.
Speculations will turn into facts and all questions will be answered when Scandal Season 5 returns this fall on television.
