Joe Macmillan is starting a new job with his fiancée Sarah's father Jacob Wheeler in Episode 2 of Halt and Catch Fire Season 2. Donna meanwhile is not comfortable with a new hire at Mutiny.

According to International Business Times, in Halt and Catch Fire Season 2 Episode 2 after proposing marriage to his girlfriend Sarah played by Aleska Palladino, PC salesman Joe (Lee Pace) seems ready to face his future dad-in-law Jacob (James Cromwell) by working for him in the family's oil business.
Episode 2 will be entitled "The New Coke". While Joe takes on a new job, Gordon Clark, an engineer (Scoot McNairy) is adjusting to his new lifestyle after earning from the shares of Cardiff, making him an almost millionaire. His cocaine use however is destroying his work. In Episode 1, it can be remembered that Gordon's nose was bleeding while he was having dinner with his kids. The drug abuse was also making him forgetful.
Meanwhile, Gordon's wife Donna (Kerry Bishe) will feel uneasy with an unexpected new employee at Mutiny. The source says based on Season 1, the new hire could be John Bosworth (Toby Huss), who just came out of jail. During the premiere of Halt and Catch Fire Season 2 on Sunday entitled SETI, Bosworth is seen back at Mutiny.
HALT & CATCH FIRE
Halt & Catch Fire Season 2 is now set in 1985, more than a year after the first season's time setting. Variety reports , it now revolves around a gaming online pioneered by Cameron Howe (Mackenzie Davis) and Donna. The drama series talks about how technology has evolved into what it is now.
Meanwhile, Deadline reports that the ratings during Halt and Catch Fire Season 2's recent debut was lower compared to when it started last year. A 45% decline in viewership was recorded.
