The Irish rock band U2's recent six-night concert at Los Angeles was star-studded as Hollywood VIPs including Julia Roberts, the Kardashian-Jenner clan, Kanye West, Sean Penn, and among others have attended the said different shows. Meanwhile, after a performance in The Roxy, U2's Bono was reported to have paid $150 for a late-night meal that should have only cost $20.
Renowned band U2's six-night show at Los Angeles, which kicked off from May 28 to June 3, was crowded by several Hollywood A-Listers who are big fans of the band, Billboard reports. Among the celebrities who have attended the different shows were Julia Roberts, Sean Penn, Charlize Theron, Aaron Paul, Rashida Jones, Jimmy Kimmel, Kanye West, Beck, John Mayer, Bruno Mars ,and among others.
The Kardashian-Jenner clan were also spotted in the June 3 concert of the band in Los Angeles. Kris Jenner took a break from a feud with ex-husband Bruce Jenner (now Caitlyn) along with her daughters Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner.
Miley Cyrus' ex Patrick Schwarzenegger together with his mother Maria Shriver, actress Lily Collins sans her beau Jamie Campbell Bower, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden, and Cameron Diaz and Benji Madden, were addition to the A-listers who have attended the concert although on different dates.
Couples Ashton Kutcher and Mila Kunis, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, George and Amal Clooney were also reported to have dotted the crowd.
Coldplay's lead singer Chris Martin and girlfriend Jennifer Lawrence joined U2's front man Bono for a night out at the Chateau Marmon, Just Jared cites. The two even had a date in the May 31 concert of the band.
Speaking of Bono, the superstar were reported to have paid a $150 for a meal, which consists of Reuben sandwich, french fries, onion rings, and a dessert, that should have only cost $20, states US Magazine. After a performance in The Roxy on May 28, Bono hit the local 24/7 diner at 3AM for the meal and after having his grub, he paid the waitress a big tip.
According to the website, the gesture made by the superstar is "pay-it-forward" since the band have just had a rough month and learned that their longtime tour manager, Dennis Sheehan, was found dead in his Sunset Marquis hotel room because of a heart attack.
U2's six-night concert in Los Angeles is part of their U2 Innocence + Experience Tour 2015. The band will continue their sold-out tour on June 6 in Denver.
