Fallout 4 on PS3, Xbox 360: Bethesda to possibly launch Cross-Gen; Release date TBA, pre-order deal includes 20% off

Fallout 4 on PS3, Xbox 360 is something fans are wondering about. Could Bethesda be launching Cross-Gen? There has been a recent leak which suggests this possibility. However, gamers have mixed optimism about this chance as it has been a while since new gen consoles have surfaced. At the same time, there is no mention of this rumor in the latest trailer of the game.

A report on Fallout 4 talks about a CSS file that hints the title's availability across a variety of platforms - both new gen and old gen consoles. Specifically, the CSS file noted the following: PS4, Xbox One, PC, and even PS3 and Xbox 360.

Although this seems unlikely to happen, there is another point which further supports this claim. It would be that Bethesda listed in their product category for E3 the RPG genre to be playable on several consoles, including PS3 and Xbox 360.

When it comes to the release date of Fallout 4, it has already been posted in Bethesda's online store. However, the ship date is still marked TBA, based on a games article. A major update on the title is its reveal of a full in-game trailer. The setting is somewhere in Boston, where there will be a focus on the Vault 111 dweller.

The Bethesda title, despite having a tentative release date, is already up for a special pre-order offer. The deal goes, "Pre-order Fallout 4 and get 20% off your next purchase on the Bethesda Store!" Those who are interested should note that this offer excludes pre-sale, games, sale, and deposit items. A code will be emailed should a customer decide to purchase, which will be valid only until October 31, 2015.

Fallout 4 on PS3, Xbox 360 is looking unlikely at this point. Players who wish to play this game should start considering getting new gen consoles as this will also allow them to play a lot of other upcoming titles.
