Hannibal had finally come back to the small screen with season 3. So far, Hannibal has been seen more human than before and was going through the things that normal people usually do.
On the upcoming episode entitled "Pimavera", Will is seen heading to Italy in order to get a closure from Lecter. On his journey he will encounter a insptector who believes that the killer he pursued 20 years ago and Hannibal is one and the same.
On the premiere episode of Hannibal entitled "Antipasto" Hannibal was seen riding posh motorbikes, working as a curator in a museum, going to parties, and even labeling somebody as his wife.
The season started with Hannibal driving a motorcycle through France and entering a building, there he meets a friend by the name of Anthony Dimmond after discussing about poetry and the museum's curator Dr. Fell and his wife Hannibal went directly to Dr. Fell only to presumably murder them in order for him to steal his identity and job.
Furthermore it looks like his companion and at the same time psychiatrist Bedelia Du Maurier is starting to fall for him especially after Hannibal labeled her as his wife. On the other hand a lot of speculations is suggesting that Du Maurier might end up on Hannibal's plate at the end of this season especially since her diet is noticeably "flavor enhancing" such as oysters, acorns and masala.
After a dinner with Gideon with his own body Gideon expressed his sentiment to Lecter and asked him how he would feel if what he has put him through happened to him? Meanwhile it was revealed that it was Du Maurier who had murdered Lecter's as well as her former patient Neal Frank.
Later Lecter went on to kill Dimmond after he told him that he was aware that he's only posing as Dr. Fell. Hannibal was the seen riding a train and there he was contemplating what Gideon told him about how he would feel if what he is doing to other people happens to him. The episode ended with Lecter folding a paper into a shape of a heart.
Hannibal season 3 episode 2 entitled "Primavera" will be aired on June 11, 2015 at NBC.
