Hardcore fans of Mortal Kombat X might see a new character added in the expanding kombatant roster, NetherRealm's boss Ed Boon teased via his official Twitter account.
According to the game's frontman, Meat might appear in the upcoming Mortal Kombat X character DLC. Such possibility of a Meat DLC was most recently hinted by Boon in his cryptic tweet saying, "I'm interpreting this as a sign: 'Meat' must be in Kombat Pack 2."
Along with this post is an animated GIF from the 1977 film, The Incredible Melting Man where the image of the movie's character looks pretty much like Meat. Albeit, this post is yet to be confirmed by the developer.
Meanwhile, the second character DLC for Mortal Kombat X adding the Edenian Warrior, Tanya, as a playable kombatant is now out along with Klassic skins for Kano, Sonya and Liu Kang. This expansion pack is downloadable starting June 2.
If players opt to buy the Tanya add-on separately, it will be available starting June 9 from the PlayStation Store, Xbox Marketplace and Steam for $4.99. The Klassic Skins pack can also be bought on the same day for an additional $3.99.
Mortal Kombat X official YouTube channel shows Tanya in a trailer with brutality which is said by critics as the character with the most insane fatality yet in the entire game. One review recommends that viewers may want to make sure to haven't eaten in a while before watching.
The third DLC pack is The Predator/Prey Pack that comes with a playable character, Predator, Predator-themed skins, Commando Johnny, Infrared Scorpion and Carl Weathers as Jax.
The fourth and last add-on is The Klassic Pack 2 that comes with Tremor as a playable character, along with Klassic skins for Quan Chi, Jax and Kung Lao.
The Mortal Kombat X Kombat Pack is a season pass of DLC which bring all four new characters and five skin packs with Tanya as the latest add-on of the set.
