This revelation of Caitlyn Jenner's through Vanity Fair June cover issue has drawn a lot of attention from different groups of people all over the world, from Republicans to a specific group of Syrian.
Mirror Online has reported that a group of Activists from Kafranbel, a district of Northwestern Syria, has expressed their admiration towards Caitlyn Jenner. A picture of this group has appeared in twitter from the account of Raed Fares, a possible member of the group. The picture of this group holding a banner that says "We would write Kafranbel with a C, if it meant like you, we would be free." The group has inspired by Caitlyn who went through a tough decision of breaking free and decided to break with tradition. The 65-year-old star said that choosing a name is one of the hardest things in life.
Moreover, it is not only those activists from Syria who took notice of Caitlyn Jenner. E! Online has stated in the website earlier that even Political groups like the Republicans have different views of this once track and field athlete. One of these politicians is Lindsey Graham, a Republican 2016 Presidential Candidate, who announced his candidacy on the same day Caitlyn' Vanity Fair Cover was released.
Cait declared herself a Republican in her interview with ABC Channel in April. Lindsey Graham said that "If Caitlyn Jenner wants to be a Republican, she is welcomed in my party. Although, Graham told the CNN reporter Dana Bash that he doesn't have all the answers to the mysteries of life and does not experience what Jenner has experienced but he could only imagine the anguish that she went through. Lindsey also hoped that Jenner has found peace in her decision.
Rick Santorum, another Republican Presidential Candidate, shared his thoughts on the news about Jenner's transition. He said when interviewed during the South Carolina Republican convention that his responsibility is to love and accept everybody and not to condemn people of who they are. But Santorum's comment is contrary to another Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. Though he refused to comment on the present news about Caitlyn Jenner's transformation, he once said in February during the 2015 National Religious Broadcasters Convention in Nashville that people like Jenner are a threat.
But it is not only Huckabee who expressed negative comments regarding Caitlyn's transformation as a transgender woman. According to Monterey Herald that Rush Limbaugh has advised the Good Old Party (GOP) to reject Caitlyn Jenner despite her being Republican. Some Republican candidates have steered clear of this kind of questions and have never given any further comments concerning gender identity.
In closing, you can only draw a conclusion that no one can please everybody with the decision that a person has made. Like Caitlyn Jenner, the activist group from Syria may have praised her, but others may not support her decision in becoming a transgender woman.
