June is filled with comebacks in hopes to score the summer jam of the year. American Idol Alumni Adam Lambert and Tori Kelly both raise their newest albums up to join the fun!
Adam Lambert who topped the poll on "2015's Most Awaited Comeback" releases his latest album entitled "The Original High" set to be released this June 9. This is going to be Lambert's first album release after parting ways with his former record label RCA, over "creative differences" back in 2013.
The legendary Queen frontman teased that the album was executive produced by Max Martin & Shellback. The first single "Ghost Town" has already been out in April 21 released through Warner Brothers Records.
The deluxe version of "The Original High" has 14 tracks including "Ghost Town" written by the singer himself, Tobias Karlsson, Brandon Lowry, Max Martin, and Al Payami. It also includes the title track "The Original High" and songs such as "Another Lonely Night," "Things I didn't Say," and "The Light."
Working with Max Martin is raising expectations that Lambert's album will finally raise the waves after his past releases in his debut album "For Your Entertainment" did a very little push in his name as a solo artist.
Speaking of debuts, American idol alumna and YouTube sensation Tori Kelly finally releases her debut album that seems to brighten the mood with its cheerful title "Unbreakable Smile" to be released on June 23.
Technically, this is not Kelly's first release. In contrary, the teen singer actually has quite a handful of experience in writing, producing, engineering, and recording her own music in her first Extended Play "Handmade Songs By Tori Kelly," which contained six songs on her own label Toraay Records released on May 1, 2012.
Do not belittle her ambitious visions as the young Kelly's "warm-up" to her now upcoming full-length album has sold more than 14,000 copies and reached No. 9 on "Billboard's Heatseekers Albums Chart".
A single has followed that release when she wrote a single "Fill a Heart" in support for a child hunger campaign on February 2013 before she signed with Capitol Records with her new manager Scooter Braun.
Subsequent releases have come under her label such as second EP "Foreword" released on October 2013 and "Silent" for The Giver: Music Collection the following year.
Her latest album has given her a chance to work with Toby Gad, Pharrell Williams, Max Martin, and Ed Sheeran.
The first single for "Unbreakable Smile" is titled "Nobody Love" was released on February 8, 2015. It was written by Rickard Goransson, Max Martin, and Tori Kelly herself.
