FIFA 16 is getting a lot of hype, especially with the biggest gaming event of the year coming up. With just a few features confirmed by EA on the popular football video game, fans are dying to know more in the upcoming E3 next week. So far, it has already been confirmed that this year, the game will already feature women's football, which is definitely a new major feature for the title.
One of the things that make a new year for the football simulation game exciting to fans would be the status of their favourite players. A website dedicated to the sport went through the effort to decide which goalkeepers should be upgraded in FIFA 16. The first one mentioned is Manchester United's David De Gea. The player was pivotal in the team's achievement of the top four, being part of the PFA Team of the Year.
The next one would be Arsenal's David Ospina, who took the place of Wojciech Szczesny last January. Since then, he has managed a consistent performance with a clean record through 18 league competitions. The third of the five on the list would be Anthony Lopes from the Lyon team. Having accumulated 835 points, he marks himself as the top 5 goalkeeper in Europe's top leagues. During FIFA 15, his rank was at 78; hence increasing this up a notch would be well-deserved.
Second to the last would be Borussia Monchengladbach's Yann Sommer. Over 34 games, he has maintained 15 clean sheets. He had the best performance among keepers, with a score of 1200. With a ranking of 79, Sommer deserves to get a boost in FIFA 16. Last but not the least would be Benjamin Lecomte from FC Lorient. Being 24 years old, he knows how to surprise fans with his performance in the Ligue 1.
Fans should stay tuned for more updates on FIFA 16. Despite some competition with another football game, being Konami's PES 16, EA's title still gets the lead in several aspects. This would hold true for the presence of the multiplayer mode, in addition to some features in gameplay mechanics. Football addicts should check keep posted for the next news on this title.
