By now, Tekken 7 die-hard fans are on the edge of their seats, their fingers itching to lay their hands on the newest Tekken iteration. Sadly, however, the truth of the matter is Bandai Namco has no official word yet on when the ninth installment of Tekken would be available for consoles.
So let's focus on what we have: arcade. Though that may not make millions of Tekken 7 fans jump for joy, it's what we have for now - bread crumbs that could lead us to the final day of the reveal.
And the latest catch in the rumor mill brought about by the latest round of teasers is that the Mishima bloodline which was started by the (in)famous original "Flat Eight", Heihachi Mishima, will once again have a new playable character to make an appearance in Tekken 7. This time it's going to be a female and if information proves to be true it would be in the person of Kazumi Mishima, Heihachi's better half.
Speculations are starting to circle around the innate fighting style of Kazumi. Online pundits and wannabe experts are putting their bets that there is a strong chance the lady fighter will don the same style as her beloved husband and son.
Added to that, reports are pouring in this lady is no push-over as she is set to emerge as the final boss for the story mode of the game. Which also will meant that like her counterparts she will also morph into a powerful devil for the final battle. This could prove closer to the truth as speculations are rife that the Mishima bloodline will be at the center of the story of Tekken 7 and the secret behind how Kazumi acquired such devastating devil transformation technique.
Of course, we all know that in the current storyline it's but Kazuya and Jin that boasts of the devil transformation technique. As many loyal following knows the father made a pact with the devil himself to grant his son such enormous power.
Now, for some welcome news. Unlike Heihachi, Kazumi will be a fountain of youth and will do away with haggard, senile look as most would identify with the first of the Mishimas. Cool!
Unlike the rest of the world, Japan is already enjoying the arcade version of the game. But pretty soon every true fanboy will have his fill in the upcoming Evolution Championship Series 2015 in Las Vegas where Tekken 7's set to appear.
