Motorola is purportedly releasing two Moto X 3rd Gen 2015 devices and might be sooner than one thinks.
One of the two models is claimed to have 5.7-inch QHD screen and the other is sporting 5.2-inch QHD display and is reported to have been delivered from Canada to India, codenamed Calisto, for testing purposes.
The latest iteration of Motorola's Moto X 3rd Gen 2015 is anticipated to release in August, that is about three months from today based on what the company president, Rick Osterloh, has previously suggested plans to introduce their next flagsip device around August or September of this year in Twitter's #AskRickO initiative.
Tweets Osterloh, "Motorola will stay on a roughly annual cycle for all our products, including Moto X." This is in response to a tech fan query as to when Moto X 3rd Gen 2015 launching can be expected.
Retrospectively, Moto X 1st Gen outed in the market in August 2013 and the 2nd Gen was launched back in September 2014 last year. In such case, the release date of Moto X 3rd Gen 2015 could possiblyl fall between August and September this year.
According to leaks online, the Moto X 3rd Gen 2015 features include 5.2-inch AMOLED display with QHD or 2K resolution (2,560x1,440 pixels),Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset with octa-core CPU and Android 5.1.1 Lollipop out of the box. What's more is it also comes with 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB built-in storage, a 16mp main camera, a 5mp front shooter and a 3,280mAh battery.
In earlier reports, Osterloh was quoted to have confirmed that the newest generation on the smartphone series will be powered by the Snapdragon 810 chip.
"Motorola Mobility and Qualcomm have a long history of cooperating to create amazing mobile experiences," said Osterloh. "The Snapdragon 810 processor will enable us to push the boundaries even further so we can continue delighting our customers with devices that give them new choices."
Fans who are looking forward to Motorola's next offering are barely three months away to get their hands on the new Moto X 3rd Gen 2015. It is anticipated that additional details will be announced pretty soon. Stay tuned.
