ABC's medical television series remains to be one of the longest running shows today, entering its 12th season this fall. While the death of Derek "McDreamy" Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey )is undoubtedly a big blow to the show, showrunner Shonda Rhimes pushes the show for another season that will answer the questions left hanging in season 11.
One of these questions is whether April Kepner (Sarah Drew) and Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) will finally go their separate ways in "Grey's Anatomy season 12," according to Hypable.
During the season 11 finale, April is torn whether to become a surgeon in Jordan or stay in Seattle to fight for her marriage. It seems that the redhead surgeon sides her first option while naturally, her husband, Jackson, is not in favor of it despite the toxic relationship that they have. Maybe, the two of them could take a break for a while in order to grow?
Meanwhile, there will be new interns in "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 as per TV Line's report. Late in season 11, "Mentalist" alum and "The Maze Runner" actor, Joe Adler joins the the show as a new intern in Grey Sloan Memorial hospital.
Adler joins "Reign" star Giacomo Gianniotti, who landed a recurring role last season, as one of the newest faces in ABC's hit series reports International Business Times.
