Without official announcements yet on the plot, the season four of television series "Arrow" is stirring up a bit lately as actor David Ramsey has confirmed that the main antagonist will be the group H.I.V.E. for the next season. Meanwhile, the director of "Punisher: War Zone" has been tapped to helm an episode of the hit The CW show.

Actor David Ramsey, who plays John Diggle, has confirmed in an interview with Entertainment Weekly (via Melty) that the group H.IV.E. will be the main villain in the season four of "Arrow." "From my understanding, H.I.V.E. is going to be a big part of next season's big baddie. We are going to delve right into why H.I.V.E. hired Deadshot to kill Andy and what H.I.V.E. is all about to begin with," said the actor.

Ramsey went on to tease that his character Diggle will be having a lot of connections to the H.I.V.E. group. Venture Capital Post previously reported that Damien Darhk, the leader of the H.I.V.E., is speculated to be the fourth season's main villain.

Darhk, who is Ra's al Ghul's former cohort, was already mentioned in the episode 21 of the third season entitled "Al Sah-him." Ra's told Oliver that Darhk has followers from H.I.V.E. who has absconded from the League of Assassins.

Meanwhile, with the writers already penning the script for "Arrow" season four, Screen Crush reports that Lexi Alexander, the director of the 2008 action film "Punisher: War Zone," was hired to helm an episode for the next season. The director took to Twitter her excitement and thanked her supporters for encouraging her.

"They have not. But I'm excited to direct Arrow in August. ;-)," wrote Alexander. It is unknown what episode Alexander is directing but since she was placed in the month of August, it could be early in the run. The director is a fan favorite suggestion on helming Marvel and DC's upcoming blockbuster projects like "Captain Marvel" and "Wonder Woman."

The CW's hit TV show is believed to air as early as October, following its previous seasons' release date schedules.
