The season five of the television series "Teen Wolf" will take a darker path as recently, a new trailer was revealed featuring new monsters to take on the McCall pack and will cause troubles among the lead Scott and Stiles. New characters will also be added and speculations are staking claim that actor Colton Haynes will be returning for the season five of the MTV show.
The full trailer of the fifth season of "Teen Wolf" has just been released and it features new villains that would cause lots of trouble among the pack of Tyler Posey's Scott McCall, Vinereport states. The teaser also smells bad news between best friends Posey's character and Dylan O'Brien's Stiles Stilinski. These new host of villains will dwindle Scott's resistance and will play a pivotal development in the upcoming season.
In an interview with TV Line, actor Tyler Posey dished out some details about the nature of these new villains. "They're very scary," the actor instigated. "They've got powers we've never seen before, they're tall as hell and they're awesome," he warned viewers. These new monsters will cause a fracture among the Scott's pack, Christian Today noted. The gang will most likely break apart because of them.
Meanwhile, character comebacks will be prominent in the season five of the hit MTV show. Among the characters who will be coming back are Peter Hale (Ian Bohen) and Chris Argent (J. R. Bourne). But according to reports, the two might appear in the later part of the season. Actor Michael Johnston will also appear on the show starting episode four as gay love interest to Mason (Khylin Rhambo). In addition, Michael Lynch joins the cast as Slaugh, a mythical creature who feasts on the souls of the innocent.
And speaking of character comebacks, "Arrow" actor Colton Haynes was speculated to be reprising his role as Jackson Whittemore in the upcoming fifth instalment of the show. The rumors went on swirling as the actor, 26, has just left his gig in the CW show. This might also hold a truthful foundation as the "Teen Wolf" creator Jeff Davis teased last year that one or two former cast members of the teen drama might be returning for season five.
However, Design N Trend refutes the rumors as it states that the actor and the people behind the show are not in good terms. In fact, in an interview with Schön! Magazine, Haynes also admitted that he has issues with the cast of the show he had worked with. "I felt like I was ripped away from this cast I had grown up with, who had become my family. I have this issue where I'm a rug ... I'm done being that," he stressed.
Fair enough. Fans shouldn't let their hopes up on expecting a Jackson Whittemore in the upcoming season. Are you excited for the season five of "Teen Wolf"? What parts are you excited the most? Don't miss as it will have a two-night premiere on Monday, June 29 at 10 PM and Tuesday, June 30 at 9 PM on MTV.
