Both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and its variant, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, may still be fresh soon after its release, but there are rumors already that is going on regarding its successor, the Samsung Galaxy S7, and it appears to be as curvy as one of its predecessor.
The Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge unit was a stunning move by Samsung which is unique to the Galaxy flagship of smartphone units with its dual curved display, not like the flat surface display the rest of smartphone units are known for to date. The Galaxy S6 Edge unit is innovative as far as the externals are concerned and by which Samsung may have been lauded for.
Following on the same trend that made the Galaxy S6 Edge stand out among the rest for its aesthetics, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will allegedly be designed to further utilize the curvy designs the Galaxy S6 Edge is known for.
Given the positive reaction to the "curves" seen in Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, expectations coming from the manufacturer itself are good that the successor to the dual curved smartphone unit will generate massive sales soon after its release early next year.
In trying to meet the perceived demand for Samsung Galaxy S7, the Samsung Display division is currently on the move to expand as reported in ETNews, a South Korean website. As a testament to this rumor as coming from an unnamed source, Samsung is allegedly making request of an 8 million flexible panels per month for the possible production of Samsung Galaxy S7, as mentioned in TechRadar.
Coming from the same source, there are also reports that claim that the Samsung Galaxy S7 will not be the only unit coming from Samsung that will have a curved display, the Galaxy Note 5, too, is expected to be built with a flexible OLED edge display when released later this year.
