Kingdom Hearts 3 Survey Teases Game Compatibility with Platforms Other than PS4 and Xbox One; Square Enix Adds Final Fantasy Characters to Join Sora’s Quests?

By

News about Kingdom Hearts 3 continue to bring fans to the edge of their seats, what with the E3 coming up in just a few days. The title has first made an announcement in the same event 2 years ago, and has just been giving sparse updates every now and then. The biggest thing revealed for Square Enix's title, considerably, might be that of the gameplay trailer during the Japan D23 Expo last October.

A lot of aspects of Kingdom Hearts 3 have yet to be discovered. Apart from the official release date, the story of the game is still a blur. To add to the suspense, there is also a survey for KHIII where fans are being teased about the chance that the game would appear in other consoles apart from Xbox One and PS4. Thus, this opens the idea of the game being playable in platforms such as PC, Wii U, and older gen consoles like the Xbox 360 and PS3.

According to the report, the said survey can be seen on the Facebook page of Kingdom Hearts 3. As noted, expectations should not be set from this as the questions may only be used to get fan feedback about future plans for the franchise.

When it comes to the content of the game, players are making predictions for the characters which would make an appearance. A recent games article suggested several characters from the Final Fantasy series. Popular names such as Chocobos, Jecht, Cecil, Sazh, Balthier, and a few others in the list. If any of them were to be included, more excitement in Sora's journeys would surely come into play.

At the moment, Kingdom Hearts 3 will be released for Xbox One and PS4. The official date as well as the inclusion of other platforms has yet to be verified through future news updates as well as the E3 and D23 events.
