A teaser has been released for the upcoming Fantastic Four reboot showing a sneak peak of one of the heroes' superpower, while a few clips from the movie was also featured in the promo for the FIFA Women's World Cup. The movie said to have included some changes in the story and will have a dark and gloomy tone to it, but will be one that will 'surprise people'.
A Fantastic Four Teaser has been released showing Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch's power of generating his flames. Meanwhile, a few clips showing several clips from the movie, and Dr. Doom, has been included in the Fox Sports' promo for FIFA Women's World Cup.
Meanwhile, the Fantastic Four reboot movie said to have implemented changes in some aspects of the story, as this time, the main heroes acquired their superhuman abilities after their exposure to what is presumed to be the 'Negative Zone'; and not from cosmic radiation, as what was written in the comic books. Also, in the movie, Johnny Storm and Sue Storm are portrayed as adopted, and not biological, siblings. Another one is that instead of Victor Von Doom, Dr. Doom's alter ego is now named Victor Domashev, who is rumored to be Reed Richards' college friend. They work together in a project that opens the Negative Zone, and Domashev later gets left behind as Fantastic Four comes back to Earth.
Aside from that, the movie is said to have acquired a darker and gloomy tone, and an evidence of this is the fact that the characters now wear black costumes instead of the popular blue costume which was associated to them.
Although some reportedly have doubts about the movie, writer Mark Millar who served as the creative consultant for X-Men and Fantastic Four said that the movie will surprise people, "I've seen chunks of it but not the complete movie, and it's looking good. What I'm really excited for is to see how many people are surprised by it. I remember everybody bitching about Fantastic Four for about six months then the trailer came out and everyone is like 'this is really good.' I think it'll surprise people," he said.
Fantastic Four cast includes, Michael B. Jordan as Johnny Storm a.k.a. The Human Torch, Kate Mara as Sue Storm or The Invisible Woman, Miles Teller as Reed Richards or Mr. Fantastic, Jamie Bell as Ben Grimm or The Thing. Victor Domashev will be played by Toby Kebbell, and Dr. Franklin Storm wil be played by Reg E. Cathey. Fantastic Four will hit theaters in August 7, 2015.
