Just a few more months before Crimson Peak gets released. Soon, fans will experience being spooked out by the upcoming film, which is said to be one of director Guillermo Del Toro's best creations yet.
Crimson Peak seem to be a really interesting, if not worth watching, since it has received praises including one from author Stephen King who reportedly said that the film was 'gorgeous and just f****** terrifying, and even said that it electrified him.
Crimson Peak which will be released just a couple of months from now, was written by Matthew Robbins and Del Toro. The film's cinematography was by Dan Fausten, and the score was composed by Fernando Velasquez. Jillian Share is its executive producer.
It will reportedly be about an author named Edith who falls in love and marries Sir Thomas Sharpe. She later moves into his home with his sister Lucille, and discovers something disturbing about it.
The movie has a star-studded cast as Mia Wasikowska will play the role of Edith Cushing. Tom Hiddleston will play Sir Thomas Sharpe, and actress Jessica Chastain will play the role of his sister as Lady Lucille Sharpe. Jim Beavers will play the role of Edith's father, Carter.
Meanwhile, actor Charlie Hunnam who will star as Edith's childhood friend, Dr. Alan Michael, and in story will be the one to warn her about the Sharpes, described the movie as probably one of Del Toro's best movie yet. "It's beautiful, it's him absolutely in his wheelhouse. It's a classic Gothic romance set against a backdrop of this very rural house in the middle of nowhere. Everybody did a great job, Jessica [Chastain] absolutely killed it, she's wonderful in the film. I think it's one of Guillermo's best films, if not maybe his best film," he said.
He also described working with Del Toro saying, "His knowledge about everything is so deep, he knows how to do everyone's job and he's very, very special, really inclusive. Just everything, from the very first moment I met him, has been about enthusiasm and expansion and love and a good time, as well."
Fans will soon have a taste of what the actors and King has been talking about, as Crimson Peak hits theaters in October 2015.
