Survivor Season 31: Second Chance also known as Survivor: Cambodia is three months away from officially starting but details regarding the season three of the show had been already revealed. The show is consists of 20 players of the previous season who, unlike the previous seasons were not casted by the producers but were voted by the public.
During the season finale of the show last May 20, 2015, just right after the show's host Jeff Probst had announced that the season's winner is no other than Mike Holloway, he had also announced the names of the top 10 male and top 10 female among the 32 candidates from the previous seasons of the show, the 20 participants were chosen by the audiences' votes.
Recently, it has been announced that season 31 will be shot in Koh Rong, Cambodia this coming summer thus it will be also known as Survivor: Cambodia together with the Survivor: Second Chance which it was first known. Although the season is known as the 31st to air, a preceding season which was also shot in Cambodia was delayed in favor of this season.
The participants went directly to Cambodia right after the announcement. Most of the seasons have one representative each, with the exception of Season 2 (The Australian Outback), Season 27 (Blood vs. Water), Season 30 (Worlds Apart) which has two participants each, Season 28 (Cagayan) which has four participants and Season 29 (San Juan del Sur) which has three.
The list of the participants is as follows: Kelly Wiglesworth (Season 1), Kimmi Kappenberg and Jeff Varner (Season 2), Andrew Savage (Season 7), Terry Deitz (Season 12), Peih-Gee Law (Season 15), Stephen Fishbach (Season 18), Monica Padilla (Season 19), Abi-Maria Gomes(Season 25), Vytas Baskauskas and Ciera Eastin (Season 27), Spencer Bledsoe, Tasha Fox, Woo Hang and Kass McQuillen (Season 28), Jeremy Collins, Keith Nale, Kelly Wentworth (Season 29) and lastly Joe Anglim and Shirin Oskooi for the recently done Season 30.
Survivor: Second Chance is scheduled to premier on September 23, 2015.
