Star Wars Rebels season 2 is about to comeback on June with one-hour movie but before that let us update with things to expect from the upcoming season of Star Wars. With the first two episodes of the season already shown to the public, spoilers and updates regarding the season is recently circulating around the Internet.
Recently two new trailers has been released, the first one features Darth Vader while the second one features the Siege of Lothal. According to report, the special one hour movie event that will be shown on Disney this Saturday will be the Star War Rebels: The Siege of Lothal after this, the season will go on with new episodes in the fall.
Furthermore at least three villains is said to be expected on the upcoming season of the show, Dark Vader included, the other two, a "square-jawed male and a more lithe female" as reported. Season 2 will also be about the growing rebellion against the empire.
During the first season it can be remembered that there were several rebels factions who are planning an uprising against the Empire and rumor has it that these factions will come together to form an alliance against the Empire.
Also, new characters are also set to join the cast on Star Wars Rebels' new season 2. First in line is the famous villain Dark Vader, according to spoilers Tarkin will call ask Vader for help him stop and catch the rebels before more damage could be done to the Empire. Another character that is set to comeback is Ahsoka Tano, it can be remembered that it was Ahsoka Tano was the one who provided the crew of the ghost with information during the first season, rumor has it that she might be joining the team on the upcoming season.
Other minor characters such as Rex, a "bald, white-bearded" guy whom the rebels had found in the desert landscape as well as Hondo Ohnaka, will also be back for the season two.
Star Wars Rebels season 2 will have its hour special episode on June 20 at 9:00p.m. ET/PT on Disney.
