The Deadpool movie will already be out in theatres on February 12, 2016. X-Men fans are all hyped on how the talkative and most notorious member of the team will be shown in the silver screen. Here are 5 highlights that fans can look forward to in the Marvel Comics film.
A talkative Ryan Reynolds
Wade Wilson, known as Deadpool, is also famous as a "mercenary with a mouth". Yes, fans can expect a humorous Ryan Reynolds talking non-stop. This despite that Deadpool does not come with a mouth, as seen in his costume. Digital Spy says Wade Wilson already appeared as a mind-controlling monster with no mouth in the later part of X-Men Origins: Wolverine in 2009.
A kid-friendly movie
Although cruel, vulgar, gory and foul language best depicts Deadpool, the movie tried its best to be friendly to children. Parental Guidance though is still needed for children under 13 years old as the movie got a PG-13 rating.
New-sounding mutants & cast
Viewers will get to meet mutants they probably have not heard of who will be played by new faces. Newcomer Brianna Hilderbrand for instance is Negasonic Teenage Warhead who actually made some short appearances in X-Men. Morena Baccarin (Gotham and Firefly) will play as Copycat also known as Vanessa, Deadpool's leading lady. Gina Carano portrays as Angel Dust. Rapper Ed Skrein, who appeared in Game of Thrones is also one of the government's experiments along with Deadpool. Comedian TJ Miller meanwhile is Deadpool's sidekick Weasel.
Andre Tricoteux as Collosus
Vine Report confirms that Andre Tricoteux will play as the villain Collosus or Piotr Rasputin, a Russian mutant. Tricoteux is known for his roles in Once Upon a Time, Warcraft and Seventh Son. There is no official announcement yet though if Tricoteux will use his voice or he will dub Daniel Cudmore's. This is because there has been a demand from fans for Cudmore who played the same role in X2, X-Men: The Last Stand and Days of Future Past.
Expect Hugh Jackman to be there or not
Lastly, Hugh Jackman could appear or not as Wolverine in the movie. Food World News says the actor did not confirm nor deny that he is going to be part of it. However, a lot of fans are hoping to see the Berserker to share some action scenes with Deadpool.
While Deadpool is yet to be released next year, fans can expect the San Diego Comic Con this July wherein the cast and crew will promote their upcoming movie.
