"Grimm" season 5 will surely see how Nick will deal with the death of Juliette last season for maybe a couple of episodes. But the burning questions of the fans if someone will be able to replace Juliette in his heart or if he will ever find someone to love again.
The ultimate episode last season saw Juliette (Bitsie Tulloch) died on the hands of Nick (David Guintoli) after Trubel (Jacqueline Toboni) killed her in order to save her fellow Grimm. It is one of the most devastating moments in Nick's life also because her girlfriend caused the death of his mother.
Fans are now wondering if Nick will be able to get over the hurt, loss, and betrayal that he faced last season and if someone will replace Juliette as the love of his life. We previously reported that Adalind is the closest love interest that Nick could have next season as she carries his child.
Crossmap also reports the possibility of a romantic affair between the two in "Grimm" season 5. Even showrunner Jim Kouf thinks it could happen as Nick should be there for their child.
"Well, something's gotta happen, one way or the other. He's gotta be responsible for the child," said Kouf. "He's got a child and he's got to step up at some point. He knows he can't abandon his child. He was abandoned."
However, since all the miserable things that Adalind had caused in the past cannot be simply forgotten, there's a huge chance that Nick will not find any interest in her. That could only mean that the writers could also let all Nick's wounds to heal before he finds someone again. How long will that take? That is for all the fans to find out.
NBC also just released the official poster for the fifth season of the show with a "Vengeance rises from the ashes" tagline that could only mean Nick will thirst for revenge next season, which will drop this October 30 as per TV Insider's report.
Details about "Grimm" season 5 are being kept under wraps so fans of the series are still unsure if Nick will find someone as his new love interest. Can Adalind replace Juliette in his heart? Or will he be filled with so much revenge this season that he won't even bother taking care of his son?
All these questions will be answered when the series returns to NBC on October 30.
