Super Junior Leeteuk Cancels Nose Job Plan; Plastic Surgery on the Second Time Around?

By

South Korea's leading boy group Super Junior leader Leeteuk recently appeared on JTBC's "White Swan" as an MC with actress Lee Seung Yun where he talked about his personal consultations for plastic surgery.

The SM Entertainment artist who was just released from serving the army on July 29 last year brought up his experience asking around to get a nose job.

"As I age, I want to maintain the pretty boy image and make my jaws look softer, my nose sharper, and my eyes shine. I received a consultation at a plastic surgery clinic once. The doctor gave me this advice, 'Plastic surgery is about remodeling, not reconstructing. You should live with your unique traits,'" says the Mamacita police officer.

Being a performer in a competitive industry where aesthetic look is highly encouraged to get known better, Leeteuk thought it would suit him best to change the structure of his nose.

However, it looked like it would not be easy as the procedure will involve a lot of reductions in his muscle tissues that has prompted him to just cancel his plan for undergoing plastic surgery.

"I asked them to make my nose shorter and they told me that the surgery will be big. They suggested me a surgery of cutting the muscles between my nose and cheeks. I decided to give up," reveals the widely recognized K-Pop leader.

Korean Netizens on the other hand suggested that Leeteuk may have meant to undergo his second nose job as his nasal structure looked different from his pre-debut pictures.

"What... I saw old pictures of him and his nose looked different from now. Is he saying that he was trying to get a second nose job?" tells the upvoted comments online.

It was also speculated that Leeteuk may have gotten other plastic surgeries performed on his face prior such as a double eyelid surgery and mouth re-shaping although it could be due to his lips losing their fullness as the Super Junior leader starts aging.

Despite announcing on national television about cancelling his nose job plan, some online communities were not satisfied, commenting, "You already got work done. It's funny how you're pretending like you didn't" and "He got plastic surgery and yet he talks as if he didn't after getting consultations."

Some even insulted his personality saying, "He's a man but his personalities are a sly fox. He pretends to hype others up but manages to shine himself. He's a big fox, that's why he's disliked."

Super Junior Leeteuk may have or may have not gotten himself a first or a second nose job. As of present, the leader or his agency SM Entertainment has not released any statement confirming or denying plastic surgery accusations to Leeteuk or anyone from the label's artists.
