Final Fantasy 15 Episode Duscae 2.0 and Wrestling Scenes; Final Fantasy VII Remake Arrives on PS4 All Improved

By

Final Fantasy 15 has been sparse with new updates, although other titles in the franchise are getting a good amount of attention from Square Enix. Episode Duscae 2.0 is the latest demo of the upcoming game, which featured several improvements fans would surely love to experience in the full game soon. Meanwhile, the remake of Final Fantasy VII has had its gameplay details revealed through an interview with the game director, while a trailer shows a familiar character from the 10th release.

It has been mentioned in this news site in a previous article that Episode Duscae of Final Fantasy XV had a lot of enhancements, particularly when it comes to having combo techniques for combat scenarios. There are also general fixes, like that of bugs encountered as well as with balancing and the video frame rate.

In the same report, it was also revealed that the fans will see some scenes showcasing the art of wrestling as Prompto and Gladiolus play around during a night out with tents and campfire. Other than these updates, more official word from the publisher would be needed.

Moving on, Final Fantasy VII Remake is coming soon and is said to arrive initially for the PS4. A recent report on Gematsu pointed out important points from the interview taken with Tetsuya Nomura, who is the game director. Regarding the use of PlayStation 4, it is said to be the initial plan and that the company intends to be consistent with releasing more titles for the console as a means to boost it.

Fans who want to see more than just enhanced graphics from the Final Fantasy VII Remake will be glad that there is more coming to them. Tetsuya shares in the Famitsu interview that the title, "is special, and we can't 'exceed' the game by simply making the graphics nicer. That's not a thing to be excited about... It's a full remake, I want to challenge what's fun and what's possible now."

However, Nomura did not become transparent with everything, such as with the game system. He commented, "I can't share details, but we're changing it to a more realistic system." AttackOfTheFanBoy also shares the trailer on the remake, where Auron from FFX appeared. While this may hint that he could be part of the game, it is too early to tell. In fact, in the interview with Nomura, he says, that no new characters would be added.

Final Fantasy 15 Episode Duscae 2.0 has already been released earlier this month. More announcements from Square Enix would be needed for specific details on the release and progress of development. Fans of the franchise could still keep themselves busy as the Final Fantasy VII will soon make it to the PS4. Keep posted for more info and an exact date of release.
