Street Fighter V Beta entry will be an exciting opportunity for fans of the franchise. The different guidelines to gain entry have already been posted, which would be more complete than the brief details provided during Sony's E3 press conference. One thing to note, though, is that this special access would only be for the PlayStation 4 console. The PC version would still be on its way.
Players from North America, specifically those residing in the US as well as in Canada, have several options where they could acquire the beta keys. A pre-order of Street Fighter V needs to be accomplished in either Best Buy, GameSpot, PlayStation Network, or on Amazon.
Afterwards, an email which will have the key will be sent on July 20, noting that this will come from the retailer. On the other hand, as mentioned in IGN, those who do the early purchase on the PSN will have automatic access to download the client without a beta key on July 20.
Gamers from Latin America will have the PSN option, with the same guidelines and schedule as with NA, written above. The PlayStation Network will also be the route for those eager to experience Street Fighter V Beta in Europe as well as in several other countries. Signing up will be until July 15, and the emails for the lucky ones will be sent on July 23.
Those in Asian countries will need to download the Street Fighter V Closed Beta Test Ticket from the PS Store, where they will apply for beta access. It should be noted that only PS Plus members have this privilege, where they can go through the process from July 9-14. The chosen ones will receive an email as early as July 21. A similar procedure is entailed for those in Japan, except that their applications would be turned it from July 8-13, a day earlier.
Street Fighter V Beta will start opening next month so avid fans of the franchise still have enough time to think things through if they will make the pre-order. This special access is only for the PlayStation 4. The PC version will still have to wait for an announcement from Capcom.
