Hearthstone, the online collectible card game based off the popular Warcraft series, had a major update last week. Known as Patch 2.7, it was released last week and it fixed some small bugs in game. The major changes that it made was adding some cool new heroes and a new game mode called "Tavern Brawl".
Hearthstone players are currently busy playing the new game mode called Tavern Brawl. According to Cinemablend, there will be a Tavern Brawl each week that will allow players to go head to head against another Hearthstone player using some new and exciting rules to make the game more interesting.
At one week, a player's deck can have a major advantage in Tavern Brawl because of a specific rule. An example of this is a rule that offers a buff to specific minion types. A player can also gain a debuff through the same way depending on the deck that he is using. But that's not all! Players may also be able to use preset decks if it is featured in a week's Tavern Brawl and there will be a specific goal that a player will have to accomplish using the deck.
However, a report from Christian Today states that there are also some prerequisites that players will need before entering. In order to enter the PvP mode, players need to have at least one level 20 Hero before playing. This is to ascertain everyone that only players with a good amount of experience are going to fight in the Tavern Brawl. Included in the game mode's debut is a free pass for players during its launch and a free card pack after the players gains their first Tavern Brawl win.
Aside from the new game mode, three new Heroes will be entering Hearthstone. According to Blizzard's Patch Notes, there will be a new Hero for the Warrior, Hunter, and Mage class. Each new Hero will have an animated portrait, a unique animated version of that classes' existing hero power, a special 'hero tray', all new emotes, cool match start animations, and a themed card back.
Hearthstone fans will definitely be excited to try out the new heroes and weekly Tavern Brawl challenges.
