The Tony Hawk's series makes a comeback after the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD back in 2012 because after 3 years of waiting, the tenth installment in the Tony Hawk's series titled Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is finally heading to stores this coming September. The new installment boasts of its Park creator that allows player to make their dream map and multiplayer mode which can support up to 20 players.
During E3 2015, the game was revealed together with a preview video. It featured new game mechanics like "Mid-Air Stomping" which allows players to fall to the ground faster after a jump. According to PlayStation Blog, "In case you need to get up to speed: our goal is to capture the combo-driven energy and tightly designed levels of the Pro Skater games while ambitiously expanding the experience with seamless online play. The gameplay is in the signature style of classic Pro Skater games in a brand-new set of levels with the same focus on daring objectives, fine-tuned controls, and high-score tricks - including manuals and reverts - for stringing together those huge combos." To sum it up, although there some new changes made to Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5, it still has the same gameplay that fans love.
According to VG247, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 Multiplayer will be able to host up to 20 players. Playing a map with a lot of players will make it livelier and change the whole gameplay experience. Players will be able to show off their moves and try synchronized tricks together.
Neoseeker's article which featured a rundown of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 game trailer, explained the new game features like Create-A-Park. According to the trailer, the Park Creator function allows players to create their own map and players will be able to vote for the map they think is the best.
Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5 is a skateboard videogame developed by Robomodo and Disruptive Games for the PS4, PS3, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The game will be available on September 29, 2015 for the Xbox One and PS4.
