Halo 5: Guardians is bound to knock fans' socks off as Microsoft feels confident that this title will be the best one yet. With big reveals during the recently held E3 2015, a lot of action and exciting info can still be expected since the release date, being October 27 this year, is still a few months away.
Additionally, using the HoloLens on the shooter franchise takes the experience to a whole new level. At the same time, those who won't be able to get pre-order bonuses will be pleased to know that these goods can still be acquired in the game itself.
The latest report on Halo 5: Guardians on this news website go about the presentation made during the Electronic Entertainment Expo. A short, but informative demo was showcased, where the perspective of Agent Locke was shed light on.
In order to search for hints in the environment, a device, referred to as the Artemis, had to be used. On the way to finding the Master Chief, Osiris becomes a hindrance to Locke and his team. More footages and screenshots followed after the cliff-hanger about the title's storyline.
During the gaming event, the capabilities of the Microsoft HoloLens were tested on Halo. As detailed in IGN, the player will wear a special headset that is equipped with an optometrist device to analyze his pupils, where the information is forwarded to a built-in app. Once this has been set, the player can move around in the room, where the view, realistically, feels like it's coming from the visor of Master Chief.
Fans who will pre-order Halo 5: Guardians are entitled to certain bonus items such as armor, weapons, and skins, among other things. While some may be worrying that it would be a loss if they do not purchase in advance, or if they receive a different set of items, all the items may still be gained through the game itself.
This was confirmed by Josh Holmes, the Studio Head of 343 Industries. He said on Twitter, "ALL unlockable content can be earned by everyone. Preorder just guarantees you have it out of box. No need to earn/unlock in game."
Halo 5: Guardians will be released on October 27, 2015, which will be exclusive for the Xbox One. The bonus items from pre-ordering will depend on the store where the game was bought. Nonetheless, all of these may be owned through regular playing of the shooter title.
