'Fifty Shades Darker' Update: Sequel Rumored To Have A Modified Ending; E.L. James Confirmed To Pen Book From Christian's POV

By

The highly anticipated big screen adaptation of "Fifty Shades Darker" which opens February 2017, is reportedly featuring a modified ending that is quite different from the book. Series creator E.L. James has also reportedly suggested that she will be writing a sequel to "Grey" - from Christian Grey's viewpoint instead of Anastasia's - for "Fifty Shades Darker" as well.

Following the reports about Jamie Dornan's full-frontal exposure, the internet rumor mill has another thrilling tiding in store for the avid readers and fans of the hit erotic-romantic novel series of "Fifty Shades of Grey". According to Movie Pilot, the sequel's recently released trailer seems to be detouring from its book into another direction. The site is predicting that the very premise of "Fifty Shades Darker" may be altered, focusing more on Christian Grey's goal to have a more "normal" relationship with his submissive, Anastasia Steele.

It was noted by Examiner that the novel focused more on Ana's attempt to adapt his sexual world of power and domination. Though this might be disagreeable to some, the site claims that this shift would make the film even sexier than its predecessor. This significant detour from its book will keep the heart and essence of "Fifty Shades Darker" intact, but bargains more chances to see Christian's efforts to change and his overall transformation as a result of meeting Ana.

However, its fans do not need to worry about the possibility of Christian totally straying to the light side of the film. As featured in its trailer, the handsome heartthrob, portrayed by Jamie Dornan ("Once Upon A Time") seems to be sticking on his BDSM path, with the mask and the promise of things getting 'darker'.

Meanwhile, the author of the erotic-romantic novel is indeed already gearing up to put more spices for the series' fans. Hollywood Life News reports that E.L. James has confirmed that a sequel to the well-received "Grey" -which takes Christian's point of view -is coming out for "Fifty Shades Darker".

The big screen adaptation of "Fifty Shades Darker" which stars Dornan as the titular role and Dakota Johnson ("21 Jump Street", "The Social Network") as Anastasia Steele is slated to premiere February 10, 2017.
