"NCIS" Season 13 will be hitting your T.V. screens this September and fans are hopeful that Agent Gibbs, played by Mark Harmon, will still be able to come back for the upcoming season. In season 12's finale, Gibbs was shot twice while on a mission in the Middle East but fans are hoping that he will survive the unfortunate event.

"NCIS" Season 13 still has Mark Harmon signed up for the series but fans are wondering if he will still be in the long-running police procedural series or he might be wrapping up his character in a few episodes this upcoming season, Christian Today reported.

Harmon was interviewed regarding Gibbs' situation and fate for Season 13 but all he had to say was that everyone is replaceable in the series as replacing characters is a creative footprint making the series all the more healthier. The other cast members also do not want to give away other spoilers for the show and the characters that fans came to love.

In a report by IBTimes, "NCIS" Season 13 will be showing more of the impending danger that the whole team will face. Showrunner Gary Glasberg shared in an interview that there are a lot of questions to be answered from season 12 and season 13 will be dealing with that. He added, "We'll have to see the long-term effects and the psychological effects, but they'll undoubtedly, as they always are, be there for each other."

In another report, NCIS Season 13 might be answering why Gibbs has been having odd visions wherein he sees and hears his fallen colleagues. Pre-production and filming for the upcoming season of the CBS show.

Harmon will be coming back together with Michael Weatherly, Sean Murray, Pauley Perrette, Brian Dietzen, Emily Wickersham and David McCallum. The show will be hitting your T.V. screens this September 22.
