Paris Hilton thought she was going to die, and it all turned out to be one elaborate hoax. In a classic example of viral pranks gone too far, the heiress screams for her life in panic in a video that went viral.
The disturbing clip is from the Arab prank show "Ramez in Control," also known as "Ramez Wakel el-Gaw". The show is hosted by Egyptian TV personality Ramez Galal. The clip was filmed in Dubai, where Paris Hilton was currently flying to. Hilton was unaware of the entire situation, as she thought that she and her fellow guests would be given an aerial tour of the city. The heiress was ushered into a private jet, and all seemed to be going smoothly as revealed by Inquisitr.
Minutes later, the pilot starts performing stunts that sends the passengers, including Hilton into a frenzy. The alarms start to go off, and the plane starts to plummet to the ground below. Ramez Galal seemed to be enjoying her reaction, as the rest of the passengers are being told that their only option was to jump off the plane as reported by The Guardian.
"WTF. What's happening? Oh my God! Is this normal? Does it always do this?" Hilton could be heard screaming in panic.
After what seems like forever, the flight safely comes to a landing on the runway. It is only then that Paris Hilton was told it was all a prank. The former reality star would then post her harrowing experience on her social media afterward.
Kathy Hilton, Paris' mother is certainly not happy over her daughter's ordeal. She said in an exclusive interview with E! While she admitted that she was a fan of prank videos, she said that this prank went too far and she feared for her daughter's life.
"No one loves a prank more than me; I don't find cruel pranks entertaining at all," Kathy said.
The video has been removed at the request of the MBC group, its copyright holder. Copies of the video can still be viewed on YouTube.
